![How to install pp joy How to install pp joy](/uploads/1/2/4/2/124230440/180687299.jpg)
First off, I have no idea if this is even the right forum, so pardon me if I got it wrong. I've been trying to play Super Mario 64 with a Wiimote and nunchuck. I've got them working great with GlovePIE, but there's one problem: I can't walk. Using the nunchuck, I can only run at a full tilt! I've heard that I can use PPJoy to have various levels of analog-stick tilting and can use it to walk. Hunger games 2 minecraft map 1.5 2. I've gone through LITERALLY every single 'how-to' I can find to install this program, but nothing seems to work!
I'm in Test Mode, have disabled driver signing, and have downloaded the PPJoySetup file. Brian tracy books free download. When I open it and double-click on the Setup app, it gives me an error that says, 'Error installing new device drivers.
PPJoy will not be operational. You will need to manually install the device drivers.' If I try to run anything, it whines about configuring a virtual joystick in the PPJoy Control Panel, which does not exist. Please, if anyone can help me figure this out, I'd be most grateful. I spent many days to figure this out, so I hope this article will benefit some. There are instructions to setup computers for simulating RC flight, but many of them are dated like this does not work in Windows 7/8 with 64bit systems. Here's how to setup, using vJoy (replacing the past ppjoy), Digital Radio (replacing the past T6sim), and RC desk pilot (replacing the past FMS) Setting for Windows 7 & 8 (I tested in both systems with 64bit versions) T6sim works in Windows 7 (64bit) but cannot communicate to the latest versions of Vjoy. Thus we cannot use T6sim anymore in Windows 7 or 8 64bit.
The original signal diagram is: Transmitter - T6sim -/- Vjoy - Windows Game control - simulator This connection cannot be established any more. Here is the solution. Install 'Digital Radio' T6sim can be 'replaced' by a different program, 'Digital Radio' whose full version is available by $2. (important: T6sim and Digital Radio cannot talk to the transmitter at the same time. Disconnect T6sim before using Digital Radio) Instal Digital Radio.
Install Vjoy. Version 2.0.4 worked well for me. Copy 'vJoyInterface.dll' in 'C: Windows System32' You can get in vJoy SDK.
You can download it in Unzip this SDK Then in 'lib' folder you can find vJoyInterface.dll. If your Windows is 64bit system, then copy vJoyInterface.dll in 'lib amd64' folder. You may have to restart the computer now. Run 'Digital Radio' Connect your transmitter and see if Digital Radio can detect your transmitter.
You will have to follow the steps in 'Help' menu once you install this software. You need to see 'vJoy' icon in Digital Radio. It says 'Enable joystick' (Refer to the Help document-PDF file after you install 'Digital Radio') If you see it, then go to next step. If you don't see it, then somehow 'vJoyInterface.dll' is not properly detected, or whenever you start Digital Radio it will give you an error, looking for vJoyInterface.dll.
In that case, make sure you copied the right version (32bit or 64bit) of vJoyInterface.dll. If you did, and still have the problem, then try to install 'VJoySetupDriverOnly.exe' It is in 'driver' folder in vJoy SDK folder. (You will have to download several SDKs until you find this file.) 7. Turn on your transmitter, start Digital Radio, connect to it, then click 'vJoy' icon in Digital Radio.
If it says connected, then go to control panel, and setup 'game control' there you can calibrate your joystick. Run RC Desk pilot. It will work. In RC Desk pilot, in its Control, setup each flying surfaces by appropriate channel numbers.
Ready to fly!
I wanted to know if there was anyway to use ppjoy on a windows 7 home premium 64 bit computer. I had it fully working on the same windows 7 version but the hdd died and needed to be replaced. After windows was reinstalled i decided to reinstall the program in test mode but whenever i try to make a virtual joystick it fails to install the driver software. Going into device manager and double clicking on Parallel Port Joystick device 1 device status says: 'Windows cannot apply all of the properties for this device.
Device properties may include information that describes the device's capabilities and settings (such as security settings for example). (Code 50) To fix this problem, you can try reinstalling this device.
However, it is recommended that you contact the hardware manufacturer for a new driver.' I cant think of what could possibly be diffrent about this install of windows 7 that it wont work. So far i have tried: uninstalling and reinstalling it running the installer in compatibility mode and as an administrator manually installing the driver software (comes up with a make sure the driver works for x64 systems). Hi Merrick, Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forums. From the issue description I understand that you have issues with using PPJoy - Parallel Port Joystick on Windows 7 computer. I appreciate your efforts on this issue.
I see that you have already tried possible troubleshooting steps on this issue. I would suggest you to contact device manufacturer for further assistance. Hope it helps. Keep us posted if you face any issues related to Windows in future.
We will be glad to help you. Regards, Anil.
